Next Concert...

I missed the concert, it was a tuesday and I had to work that day,some friends went to the gig and they told me it was an amazing concert and the audience was "giving it all",like we use to say in spain.

Okay... Bospop was great this weekend.. As always it was very much fun, it's the ehm.. how do I say 'Gezellig' in english..??
Well it's the Gezelligste festival of the Netherlands..

Met Corey Glover again, he still knew me when it was like 5 years ago when we last spoke to eachother..
Living Colour was completely awesome, they did a great show (in the burning sun) with mainly older songs..

Another cool story must be taht after the show Glenn Hughes did, which was briljant as well, a friend of mine came up to me and said "do you know Glenn Hughes..??" I replied with "Not personaly but I've got some of his cd's, saw some shows and really like his music"
So he pulled me by the arm, and before I knew it I was being introduced to the Voice of Rock-himself.. My friend said "Glenn can I introduce to you.... PATRICK.." and started to tell what I do in the music world etc.etc.

and since I don't do sh*t in the music biz, I felt a bit embarrased when Glenn offered me a chair at his dining table and starts asking questions like "what did he say you do exactly..??"
So I told the truth about being nobody.. and his tour manager said.. "so... you're just a fan..?? Well... You're very welcome.."
and so we talked about all kinds of things, and they told some cool tour-adventures.. It was very cool being there..

Although dUg seemed like a fish out of water at some moments, sometimes in despair looking at Doug W. or Vernon Not knowing what came next.. I think he gave a great show, growing into the show along the way..
I wouldn't be a good idea if he was to replace Corey forever.. But just a single tour is just awesome..

I love so much the Doug's voice, but on the Living color's tracks... sure it was amazing!

It's been a long time since I saw Jeff Healey in Holland (I think he has never seen Holland.. ) He's an amazing guitarist..

Jeff got up for a couple of songs at the Gillan show (Sugarplum and When A Blind Man Cries), but even though most of Gillan's band made it back to the club, Ian crashed instead. I can't say I blame him. The show was great and I imagine it must take a lot out of him. Jeff and I kept turning to each other during the show saying, "how does he do that with his voice?!?" LOL!

Back in February (?) Gillan was in town to record some of his new album, "Gillan's Inn" and he popped 'round the club for an extended jam set. It was really, really cool! Guy's still got killer pipes!
