sunny Grand Funk Railroad: Live Album (You can smell the sweat on this one!)

sunny Todd Rundgren: Something/Anything? (Pure genius!!!!)

sunny Joni Mitchell: Court And Spark (Help Me still gives me goosebumps!)

sunny The Whatnauts: Step Into Bittersweet Soul (The title says it all!)

sunny Band Of Gypsys (My bible! Jimi & Buddy are together again in heaven.)

sunny Dyke And The Blazers: So Sharp! (This is some greasy funky shit!)

It's a pity Experience Hendrix didn't release a correct video of those gigs! Evil or Very Mad I love it too! Jimi was pretty free to play like he wanted at that point (until he had to play more "commercial" music because of Mickael Jeffries (I'd like to hear commercial music like this one nowadays...).

Jimi and Buddy must be playing "Freedom" now....

I'd like to know this.

Peace. Very Happy

Paco De Lucia, Tomatito y Vicente Amigo

Check this precious song of Vicente Amigo, pure andalusian essence

KWAKWA Spyz Family!!
some of mine:

- Mike Patton: A perfect Place. (from the motion picture)
I love the Patton releases because he try to be as crazy as i am.

- Mari Boine: Idjagiedas in the land of the night.
Indian songs, (new age?) mystic music, i love her voice and her musicians (Terje Rypdal,...).

- Alamaïlman Vasarat: Käärmelautakunta.
This band make everyone remember the "No smoking Orchestra" ( Emir Kusturica's movies) but with so much good musicians.
Jazz, tzigane, sometimes Metal (without guitar, but a cello)

- Pantera: The great southern trendkill.
I know that everyone here know this album but i got it in my player since a long time and i can't erase it. So good!

- Estradasphere: Palace of mirors.
More they make new albums, better they are!!

see U!!

heyooo all Smile
For those who likes progressive rock and guitar skills, try to hear some tracks of the album "Zone" by the canadian guitarist Dave Martone ! It's a pleasure and drums are great also. I'm sure you will love the track "the Fan".

Re all Smile For those who do'nt know yet, Bumblefoot releases a new album called Abnormal.
I just got it, it's a Progressive Punk album, with a "yes future" shade, some fun, some romantism, a kind of tremendous rocky horor picture show with incredible guitar parts !!! Introducing a second of jazz, some metal, a bit of country, all mixed together for fun All musicians on the album are crazy !!!
Go put this in your ears Smile

Hey m8s !!!

Some ol' time friends did a band again, it's called Jurassik Funk, and it will funk !!! I know the guitar player and the drummer and i can assure they do it great !!! I don't know if they put any tracks on the myspace because of my damn modem, but as i know they're gonna release a cd sooner or later, i invite you to follow the business Smile
the last band they had, a few years ago was some soul funk kinda Tower of Power with Slickaphonicks and more, and i'm glad they 'll play again.

The new Steve Stevens album "Memory Crash". It's all instrumental (reminds me a bit of Satriani) except for a cover of the Robin Trower song "Day of the Eagle" sung by Dug Pinnock!

Killer!

Thanks Rog, i'll put my ears on this one. As i've loved "black light syndrome" when it appears, a few years ago, i'll check this one.
Just coming back to ask you to take care of Jurassik Funk on myspace page, they've put a few songs on-line, 3 "demos" style and one more worked, called funk connection. Try this and please tell me or them what you think about. They did this at home, no studio, no money... Just good musicians. Hope you'll like it Smile
