I'M GONNA TRY......

Hola Family! I've gotten so many emails from people all over the world asking for the same thing and I'm gonna try to do something that has never happened in the entire life of Spyz. I'm gonna try and reach out 2 Living Colour and see if they would like to do some dates together! I think people feel that there is bad blood between us and I think that it's time we show the world that both bands share many things but contempt is not one of them! All I can do is reach out, the rest is up to them. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Post, Post, Post!

I keep on thinking in a concert without more bands but with more 24-7 spyz songs,but I have to recognize the good musical taste of the spyzmates with groups like King´s x,living colour,bill Would,spacey-t,fishbone,screaming headless torsos........

Truly would be a great thing and could be playing different bands thinking the citys,but sure is difficult and more job.

In the same time i was listening to some bands or guitar heroes wich didn't bring me anything new, intelligent, original and so much powerful and beautiful! ...and real groove!
Now, i agree with Vinny22... why don't you propose the same thing to Kings' X and Fishbone and Britney Spears? Yes !
I've only seen Living Colour (4 times) Fishbone (only one time) and their live shows were awfully amazing! I 'm sure it's the same for Kings'X and those that i hate most than everything in the world: 24/7 Spyz! (Because they're the best and it's intolerable! )

- It will be a 24/7colours or a living Spyz show
- Or a 24fishscreamingspyz'X livingbonestorsoskings show
- And just before the first moments of the beginning(before the beginning of the show... and even for one track) could we hope to see the Marcellus Wallace (number ONE in Spain since ten minutes) and the Shivering Tom's band(Number 24,7 in france under no one)
-And the question that everyone ask me every day since tomorrow: will we see Jimi and Britney dancing naked together during the show
- And what about your relation ship with Madonna?

That would be the shit if you could hook up the tour with LC. I love the fact that you cats are into the "grass roots" type of tour but plaese make sure that you guys tour bigger places where everyone can see you. I've been overseas for 11 years and haven't had a chance to catch you since '93 'n shit. To say that I've been jonesin' for some live Spyz is a huge understatement. The DVD is the shizzle also. And lastly, thanks for the myspace add also man. Respect.

That would be a great double bill. I'm a huge Living Colour fan. It would be a great guitar clinic as well. I would love to see Will Calhoun and Tobias kick it out too!!

Well I just spoke to Vernon Reid last week about Jimi's interest in Living Colour doing shows together and or touring. He was jazzed and and said he is "down with it"- thunbs up, green light, let's do it!!!.
Bumblefoot was right there as a witness. He was also amazed that Spyz have new material on the way and is interested in getting together . He was also intrigued by Bumblfoot's brand new signature guitar with the little "Thimble" technique too.....

Well i just spoke to vernon reid in the last two hours and he was remember that Mario was with Ron Thal a few weeks ago and asked him the same question!


He had a smile and agreed with this feasibility! So i said KWAKWAKWA and he didn't talk to me anymore (i don't know why)

Thanx Mario & Le Canard Fou! I guess there are Spyz everywhere! I've gotten so many emails from fans of both bands and they all think the same thing, that seeing both bands share the stage is long overdue and to some extent, a milestone for the black rock movement! I think it's both and even better, an exercise in great musicianship! As I said to Vernon in my email, let's do something in the 21st century that wasn't done in the 20th century! That's funny when you think about it, it is the 21st century! Let's see what it brings!

Great idea! I could give Fishbone's Angelo Moore a call, in the next few days. Provided they are back from Europe. Former/ backup Bad Brains drummer Chuck Treece sent me an email last month with Brains manager's contact info (they needed a Sonor drum kit for the tour). He's busy now as they are on tour with Chuck's band "McRad" opening. Spyz have gotta be on this bill.
