| The show was amazing! The place was packed. Anthony Johnson & Jeff Broadnax were there; Jeff was invited up to sing STUNTMAN but declined. Tobias was playing around with Anthony from the stage by making funny little comments like "Anthony Johnson was only 18 when he recorded that" and something about thanking him for being a lefty. Tobias seemes like a funny cool guy. He also mentioned that he was in 11th grade when Harder Than You came out in 1989. They played, I think, almost 2 hours. Surprise songs were Heaven & Hell and a little of Jungle Boogie (I think it was during Stuntman). The first part of the set was all material from the last two studio CDs; w/Jimi on vocals. Jimi announced that his voice was a little shot so I figured Jeff might finish the latter part of the set. I never got to see the band w/ Jeff so that would have been a treat. Like I said the place was packed and people were MOSHING! Jimi appreciated that! Rick was on fire playing the shit out of the bass and jumping around like a maniac.
All in all a great show; probably one of the best I ever saw from them.
Thanks! | |

Hi Bear! We're trying to find a "proper" home for the disc as well as putting some new people into our biz. Once that happens, we hope to do some European touring! Lucky for us it's early in the year so we still have lots of time to come over!

Written by Jimi HazelVerse 1. Don't you let the bad days bring you down Ya got to get your feet back on the ground Clear away the cobwebs in your mind A second chance is guaranteed this time! It's alright if you slip and fall Sometimes you catch a bad one-a bad one Get back up and start walking tall Cause it wont be your last one-your last one Inside outside all around You know you gotta get up just to get down But if you should awake and you're feeling blue Listen to me because I'm talking to you! Chorus!Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what!Verse 2.I have seen the sunshine and the rain And sometimes they are both one in the same Even if the rain should flood your eyes Wipe away your tears stand up and rise! It's alright if you slip and fall Sometimes you catch a bad one-a bad one Get back up and start walking tall Cause it wont be your last one-your last one Good days bad days you gotta strive Cause you know like I know That only the strong survive But if you should awake and you're feeling blueListen to me because I'm talking to you! Chorus!Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! Whatcha gotta do is what cha gotta do Whatcha gotta do what what! It's alright if you slip and fall! FACE THE DAY! Get back up and start walking tall! GOTTA FACE THE DAY! Good days bad days you gotta strive! FACE THE DAY! Cause only you know the strong survive! GOTTA FACE THE DAY! It's alright if you slip and fall! FACE THE DAY! Get back up and start walking tall! GOTTA FACE THE DAY! Good days bad days you gotta strive! FACE THE DAY! Cause only you know the strong survive! GOTTA FACE THE DAY! UHH! UHH! UHH! UHH!Guitar solo! It's alright if you slip and fall! FACE THE DAY! Get back up and start walking tall! GOTTA FACE THE DAY! Good days bad days you gotta strive! FACE THE DAY! Cause only you know the strong survive! GOTTA FACE THE DAY!This song became my mantra when things got bad. I believed in it when I wrote it and I still belive in it! Sing it loudly whenever you feel down and it will really help you feel better! Thanks for asking for them!

| Hey Jimi thanks for this ^^ The review gives only one thing, the need to be there next time... Excellent set list and picts. Damn how much i regret not to have been there... I'm not surprised the crowd head-bangs and crowd diving with a set list like this, and the end of the show with the Stuntman/Jungle Boogie/Stuntman must have break some neck ^^

| Hehehehehe...Jimi...I dig the beard. It is winter time...right? Anyways, Jimi, how much rehearsal do guys do prior to these few gigs the Spyz have been doing? Or are these gigs sort of your rehearsal? Lastly, Jimi, can you throw us a bone and maybe give us a little scoop as to the plans in 2007? Have you guys spoke with any other bands about hooking up on tour or are you guys just considering doing your own thing and touring this year? It's been at least a month since I've last bothered you for information! Hope all is well in Spyz land. It's about 8 degrees today in Detroit, so it's probably coming your way in New York...which means don't shave the beard Jimi!!!!! Peace, Cliff | |
