|  Hi Everyone! We had a blast! We got there late due to shitty traffic so we had no soundcheck. The club is like a small (  way small! ) CBGB's, with more bar than live room! Nice intimate crowd and super personal gig! Phunky Man & TM Stevens' Shocka Zooloo did the damn thang and tore the house down! I had gear issues, I think my rig knows I'm gonna retire it soon  ..... We did what we do, HMS like a mutha! We went on really late and ran over the curfew so our set got cut. Here's what we played: Face the Day  Love 4 Sale Love & Peace Yeah X 3 Waiting 4 the Sun Soulsucker Saturday Song (Tobias played a KILLLLLER SOLO!!!  ) Valdez (Rick's solo version!)  Grandma JCT Superhero Heaven & Hell Room # 9 (Superpsychedelicreggaeambientnoise fest version!  ) And due to it being 2:30, we had to stop! Big thanks to the club and all the beautiful people that hung, grooved and gave love to the Spyz! It won't take us another 12 years to hit Philly again, believe that! PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS RULE!!!!!! | Just stopping by to say thanks for the killer gig! It was great meeting you guys outside before the show and the song selection was great. I was going to try and pick up the dvd in person ( I figured why wait on the one I ordered in the mail) but we stepped outside for some air when you were done. We got locked out and couldn't get back in!  My wife Chenoa and sis Naomi loved the show and my sis is definitely a new fan! Peace and I hope you play again soon at a venue we can get to. If so, we will be there! | |
