Hey, i don't want to be the obsessioned one, but you should buy you the Jeff Brodnax record "acoustic EP" !!! I really deeply think you should !!!!
It's now something sure that it's one of the purest record i ever heard, i'm listening to the song "till im strong" in loop turn, it makes me cry, it touches inside, deep, no real words can express the feelings...
If you wanna do something simple and wich will take you higher, share this with me, please !!!

,the suicidal tendencies are still alive,I only know that Mike Muir returns with young musicians,rocky plays with fishbone(I was last year with him and the others laughing,drinking and talking about the spyz and Fishbone) and Trujillo,you know too, plays with Metallica.

Suicidal Tendencies' The Art Of Rebellion is a great heavy album. Nobody Hears is one of my favourites songs of them, Possesed To Skate or Subliminal both are classics! Cool

Today i wanna speak about a record you may do not know at all.
It's far from the kind of music we all speak about here, and the only common point it can have with Spyz is the skill of the musicians and the energy ^^.

Nguyen Le - "Maghreb and friends"
it's a jazz-rock melting with traditionnal music from Maghreb, and i listen to it since almost 10 years, and it didn't take a wrinkle.
Full of great musicians, from Nguyen le (excellent guitar player) to Karim Ziad (excellent drummer), you will have the joy of complex music played with flow, positive energy, and high skills everywhere...

Hope you'll try to listen to it.

A friend of mine made me hear this incredible record i immediatly buy on CDBABY:

It's not new, maybe i'm just coming from my campain with my boots full of mud ^^ maybe you all already know this one... lol
I don't know if someone have an opinion about this record, but i find the rythm section incredible, plus the fact they are behind an excellent guitar player...
I hope you 'll like it if you try it.

And another excellent album, but older, but excellent
"Enigmatic Ocean" from Jean Luc Ponty.
Allan Zavod, Steve Smith and Allan Holdsworth and an excellent bass player named Ralphe Armstrong play behind...
Try to hear that if you like Zappa's music from the 70 's, you may like this one too... I fell in love with "nostalgic lady" and other titles of the album... Hope you 'll like it.

I also discovered the Eric Johnson album "Electromagnets" from 1975. Some excellent tracks on this record, subtle and clever. It's difficult to understand once again how a musician like this is not at the place wich belongs to him.
